During a post heat interview, the newly crowned 11x ASP world champ Kelly Slater is asked “What’s Next?”

Sacred Craft Board Benefit

This weekend I will be one of the featured artists at the Sacred Craft Expo – Board Art Benefit (October 8th-9th). My board is a 7’4″ Pipeline Gun shaped by Gerry Lopez (like the Pipeline Masters trophy surfboards I’ve been making with Gerry). The painting is based off of the 1979 photo by Lance Trout with his special permission. All three signatures are on the deck – shaper, artist and photographer. The bottom will have a gold leaf lightning bolt. I’ll be doing a demo painting on this board detailing out Gerry’s portrait in oils on the sanded hot coat this weekend. It’s a rare chance for someone to acquire a Pipeline Masters board as a non-competitor and proceeds go to a worthy cause at Surf Aid International.

Chillerama – Teaser Movie Poster

My latest movie poster project is the comedy-horror collection – CHILLERAMA. I just finished this teaser one-sheet poster for it’s pre-release opening at Comic-con in San Diego. Receiving nothing but positive reviews, this poster was a huge hit. I am continuing to create all the movie artwork for the 4 individual movies, the final poster as well as all promotional merchandise design, so check back for more glore to come!
